Monday to Friday, and most of the Lake District: the western lakes and Wasdale, the coast to Coniston, Tarn Hows and Grasmere to Keswick, then over to Ullswater.
Four nights from Monday afternoon to Friday morning, crossing from the western lakes to Coniston, Keswick and Ullswater. This circuit covers more ground than the weekend loop; allow extra time beyond the driving estimates for walks, parking and campsite check-in.

Collect in Aspatria from 2 pm; return by 10 am. Driving times are approximate. Use each campsite’s arrival directions.
The first suggested night at Wasdale needs a change: the National Trust normally requires two nights, or three on bank holiday weekends. Stay longer and shorten another part of the circuit, or confirm a different pitch that accepts the one-night stop.
Check each site’s arrival directions and check-in time. On Friday, the priority is the 10 am return in Aspatria; fit Aira Force and Dodd Wood into an earlier day.
Winter starting total: 4 nights at £130. Spring and autumn start at £140 per night; June–August starts at £150. Your dates determine the estimate. Campsites, fuel and excess mileage are separate. The suggested pitches are not reserved: check minimum stays and agree your route before booking them.
Follow the return route along Bassenthwaite and allow time for traffic and handover. Any remaining walks or attraction visits belong on an earlier day.
