Check the pitch before you book

Aventura is 6.4 m long. Enter that length when booking and ask the operator to confirm that the pitch and approach suit the camper. A touring site listing does not guarantee a particular pitch, season or date.

Plan the nights before you book the van

Wasdale and Low Wray normally need two nights for an advance booking, rising to three on bank holiday weekends. A circuit with a single night at either site needs a different pitch or a revised overnight plan.

For hire from April 2027, confirm that your chosen site is open and accepting bookings for those dates. Current operator pages do not all publish the same season; a listing here does not confirm a 2027 pitch.

Compare electricity, water and waste facilities as well as location. A hardstanding pitch does not always include hook-up. Read the collection and packing guide before planning your first and last drives.

Wasdale

Wasdale Campsite · National Trust

The published maximum is 6.5 m, so the camper fits within that stated length limit. The approach is narrow; follow the site’s directions.

Where can you stay overnight?

Plan to use a booked touring campsite, or obtain the landowner’s permission for another place. A daytime parking space or an informal map listing does not establish permission to stay overnight.

Build the route around available pitches

Our circuits are ideas for your trip. A one-night stop may need changing where a campsite has a two-night minimum. Keep your plans flexible until the campsite confirms availability. Pitch bookings and costs are separate from camper hire.
