Your 7-night Lake District route

A full week, Friday to Friday, with two nights around Ullswater and two around Keswick. Those longer stops let you explore without changing pitch every morning. The west-to-east route still needs its overnight bookings confirmed before you set off.

Collect in Aspatria from 2 pm; return by 10 am. Driving times are approximate. Use each campsite’s arrival directions.

Keep the week flexible around campsite bookings

The suggested single nights at Wasdale and Low Wray do not meet their normal advance-booking minimums. Change those pitches or redistribute the seven nights before booking. Bank holiday minimums can be longer.

The two-night stops around Ullswater and Keswick are chances to leave the van on one confirmed pitch while you explore. Keep the final Friday morning for the drive to Aspatria and the 10 am handover; visit Dodd Wood or Mirehouse earlier.
