The outline gives you two nights near Ullswater and three near Keswick. Use those longer stays to choose your own balance of walking, food and time by the water.
10 nights 18 lakes about 13 hrs driving
Collect in Aspatria from 2 pm; return by 10 am. Driving times are approximate. Use each campsite’s arrival directions.
Explore this circuit on the interactive map ↗ Turn ten nights into a route you can actually book Even on this longer circuit, the single nights suggested at Wasdale and Low Wray need adjusting to their advance-booking minimums. Choose fewer overnight bases or different suitable pitches while keeping the hire within ten nights.
Book meals and activities around the confirmed pitches. Meathop Fell is a base near Grange-over-Sands for visiting Cartmel, rather than a pitch in the village. Keep the final Monday morning for returning to Aspatria by 10 am.
