Terms & conditions.
The stuff that keeps both of us comfortable. If anything here is unclear, ask — we'd rather talk it through than hide behind small print.
1. Booking & payment
A 25% deposit secures your dates. The balance is due on collection. We take card payments through Stripe.
2. Cancellations
30+ days before your pickup: full deposit refund. 14–29 days: 50% refund. Within 14 days: non-refundable. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
3. Driver requirements
Minimum age 25, with a full UK or EU car licence (Category B) held for at least 2 years. Additional drivers can be added at the time of booking.
4. Collection & return
Collection from 2:00 pm on your first day; return by 11:00 am on your last. Late returns may incur a fee. Alternative times by prior agreement.
5. Mileage
150 miles a day included. Additional miles at 25p per mile, billed on return.
6. Fuel
Diesel. She's handed over with a full tank and must come back full, or we'll refuel at pump rate and charge the card on file.
7. Insurance & excess
Comprehensive cover is included. Standard excess is £1,000. Excess-reduction options are available.
8. Pets
Well-behaved dogs are welcome for a one-off £40 deep-clean fee. Mention your dog in the booking notes.
9. Smoking
No smoking or vaping inside the van. A £200 deep-clean charge applies if evidence is found.
10. Damage & security deposit
A £500 refundable security deposit is held at collection and released within 7 days of a clean inspection.
